I seldom shop at the Salvation Army in US 1 Vero Beach because the store does not have a friendly vibe. I went there today only because of the 50% discount but I did not expect to meet a very rude cashier. At first, I ignored her reaction when I told her that the pan in my bag was mine, that I was looking for a lid that fits, and that I purchased 9 pcs of items. I did not understand why she gave me a look and told me "will you let me do my job?" I was shocked, but I did not say anything. Then, she told me that the 1 item in the cooking pan set is not part of the set. This particular item did not had a price and I found them together, it looks like it was part of the set. Without consulting the manager, she told me that the item costs the same as the rest of the set. When I said she was just guessing the price, only then did she ask her co worker, and showed her disgust on me. I told her that she got the wrong job. Very poor customer service. She said her name is Dolores. She was upset when I asked her last name, she angrily said "do you think I will give you my last name?" I suggest that the staff visit Goodwill a couple of blocks away, and see how friendly the staff there and how happy the customers are.

You never know what you'll find at a thrift store but this site was well stocked with a variety of clothing, housewares, books and accessories. Pleasant helpful workers always a plus.
