I just wanted to take a moment and share my experience with the Bascom United Methodist Church. My son and I were traveling through West Virginia in route to Virginia and unfortunately we were caught in the flooding and were held up in the town of Rupert and the locals offered us a place to stay at the Methodist Church . The people of the church were very welcoming and made the best of a bad situation and the food was great also. So a special thank you to people of Rupert and the Methodist Church.
