Yesterday I went to the store looking for a last minute birthday outfit. Found a few options, grabbed them and went to try them on. In the fitting room, I noticed that a set was mixed match, small top and medium bottom. So I asked the employee walking by if she could point me to where this set was; she barely looks at me and tells me it's the last one. Fine; since the pants fit, I put the top down and grabbed the rest of my stuff to go pay. I waved at one of the ladies to ring me up. I am then told that she needs the top to scan the price; which I grabbed and hand to her. She scans the item, put the top behind her, stuffs the pants in the bag and gives me my total. She charges me for the whole mix match set. I am only informed of that when I asked her the price of the pants since it was the only item I was purchasing. She then proceeds to explain to me that I can get the set and gift the top to someone else, or she would have to mark it as defect and put it in the bag; so I asked her why would I purchased something knowing that it does not fit, and pay full price for a product that they wrongfully matched. She calls someone, explained to her how the product is mix matched and how she informed me that I had to pay the full price for the mixed up; to which the new lady of course quickly agree to. In what world does this makes sense? I would not have been bothered paying a third of the price, it is the audacity of the clerk for charging me full price for an incomplete item, put the top behind her and then trying to dumb me down by telling me that I can gift the top to someone else when I bring it up. Not looking for a way to make it right, simply putting the top behind her, charging me full price. Now I remember why I avoided this place. It is their callous attitude every time.

Hello I love shopping at step New York but the store manager she don’t say hello when you come in she barely speak English,I’m a customer they,she don’t smile ,the other workers are nice and welcoming ,customer service is the key I love the clothes and price but customer service should always be on point this was at the broward mall locations
