Delicious food and drinks. Got the prosciutto arugula pizza and it was amazing. Service was slow but they were busy. May need to increase staff. But I'm sure that's difficult currently. I'll definitely be back.

My friends booked the Saturday reservation at Market Tavern so I didn't tell them about my parents' experience at this restaurant. I was pleasantly surprised by the taste and quality of the food. There is plenty of comfortable seating in the waiting area and a large bar. The hostess wasn't on point -- she didn't seem to be present. We had reservations for outside and the hostess kept saying that to sit outside, we needed reservations. We reminded her that we did have reservations for outside. The funny thing is when we went outside, there were plenty of available tables as there was only one other party that was sitting outside. The cornbread was fresh, hot and delicious and butter was sweet. The portions were very small for the price. However, it was one of the best cornbread I ever tasted. The brunch items were ample-sized. I had the eggs Benedict which came with roasted potatoes and a side salad. The dish was marvelous. The temperature was in the 90s, but under the shade outside it felt like a cool 70°. The server was very nice and left an iced water carafe on the table. The restaurant has a takeout area where customers can get ready made enchiladas, pizzas, salads, drinks, and other entrées. I bought the beef enchiladas Rojas for $10 tax included. The enchiladas were excellent. The employee who checked me out at the takeout area was very helpful. The avocado salad was sizeable and my friend boxed up leftovers. In all of the salads were pea-sized tomatoes that were delicate and sweet. They looked like sweet pea currant tomatoes. Amazing taste and popping texture. I believe that this restaurant is in the old Carmen's restaurant location at Lincoln Center. Would recommend, especially for the weekend brunch. I told my parents to give this restaurant another chance. If I lived in the area, I could see myself stopping at this restaurant and picking up takeout containers for dinner.

Market Tavern is a really good restaurant. I tried a few menu items, and I enjoyed each item. The cornbread was prepared in a way I never tried, but it was really good and moist. The doughnuts were really good as well. Long story short, my …

We went for Thanksgiving and they had a set menu of a 3 course meal at $55 a plate. I ordered the ham and a turkey dinner to take home. I was disappointed in the quality. It didn't look to appealing either. I have always been satisfied …

Not sure. Give them a call.
Casual, but I do see a mix in there. A woman wouldn't be out of place in a skirt or a man in a jacket or tie.

No live music, just piped in through speakers. It is louder in the bar than the main dining room.
