Located in the Bijou Shopping Center west of the CVS store. Nikki Chaat offers an East Indian Buffet on weekends though it was suggested we call before coming in. Naan furnished with buffet along with a mango beverage. Chicken Madras and Butter Chicken had good flavor. Cost is about $18 and in line with Tahoe prices

Except for a reasonable ambience, there's nothing much in this place that makes you feel like you entered a restaurant. The staff are rude and unprofessional. Food takes more than 45 minutes to be prepared. In fact the kitchen is so loud that you can hear everything being prepared. We ordered a pav bhaji -- instead we were served bagel-bhaji. Tea was served in paper cups. I think these folks know that their service sucks -- hence they forcibly add a tip of 18%. Would never recommend this place.
