You can but it's very difficult.. here is the number for Grohe tech support.. they might be able to walk you thru it @ 1-800-444-7643 M-F 7am - 5pm CST .. Let us know how it turns out - good luck :)
American is the brand we stock - we can also supply and install Rheem, Rhuud and others but the warranty on American is easier for the customer. :)
