The building was 40 years old, and was riddled with leaks, the residents were concerned. There was a $100,000 per apartment assessment being billed for balcony reconstruction.

Wonder if the 40 year building structural certification was completed? Apparently the bldg was currently undergoing the certification and improvements were underway. In addition, the adjacent parcel is the location of a new recent high rise
