3D printer, sewing machine, crafts, silent room, instruments in the you make center. Great people working behind the scenes. Google any other library in the area and this is the finest. Coming from a Sarasota County retirement-ville native.

Great library with really extensive selection of Florida history books. The lady at the front was really kind. I didn’t get her name to properly recognize her hospitality on this review. Only downside for this branch is parking. Not just that it’s so small but you have to pay. I guess that comes with the location. There’s a nearby garage with ample spaces at very affordable prices. I paid $2 for the hour. To everyone complaining about homeless people, that’s normal across nearly every branch. The library is one of few places that provide free resources (A/C, books, computer access, WiFi, restrooms, etc). Have some compassion.

Anyone (homeless) can go to the library to read and educate themselves. There is nothing wrong with that.

Most amazing library I have ever been to. Charlotte and Brian are the most compassionate humans I have ever met!

Yes, there are more than three dozen accessible computers there. They have both PC's and Macs. They also had desktops, laptops and tablets, as well as: scanners, copiers and printers (both regular and 3-D) that you can use. They even have Wii, PlayStation and Surface Pro computers.
Yes I think so

It's every Tueday from 10:30 to 10:50 then we bring out a big pile of puppets and blocks and you can stay as long or short as you like. It's especially for 18 mos. & under but mostly toddlers come.
No there is no designated parking lot for the Library. You have to park either on the street, in a lot, or garage that is relatively near by.
Call your local MDPLS branch, they will make sure you get the information you need. Call Main library or visit there if you're able to. They have a genealogy department there.
Yes they all work but the area is closed on sunday
Library card is free, though you need to be a local with photo ID or proof of residency.
That's a subject you should mention to the library manager.
I am not sure if they do but the library staff there are very friendly they will take care of all of your questions give them a call
Just go there an ask for it
