Very clean with nice staff. Felt the rooms were a bit pricey for the amenities, but summer availability is limited.

The place had a very strong urine odor! It was almost $200.00. Bed were like sleeping on a trampoline. $50.00 for a pet deposit was ridiculous. Talk about highway robbery! I would not recommend this place. The only good thing is whoever cleaned the room did a decent job. Never would stay again!

Nice, small, newer, local family run (and owned) motel in a small town. However for the price, they should have an elevator, more handicapped rooms, provide a full breakfast and have better soundproofing between rooms. Also, it is bad form for workers to watch customers while they are getting breakfast and make comments about how the customer is eating them "out of house and home". They did not give me a discount, so should not complain. Finally, there are No Smoking signs everywhere, yet the daytime worker openly smokes cigarettes right outside the main entrance, then throws her cigarette butts in a bucket just around the corner. The whole area smelled like smoke and by the time I walked thru it numerous times to load my vehicle, I smelled like cigarette smoke as well, even though I don't smoke and had just taken a shower.

This old motel is beautiful and has everything you expect from a hotel. The amenities are better than 3 star hotels. It looks old, may be it is, but the hosts are really nice people. We checked in after midnight and they helped us with everything we need even at that time. The breakfast menu covers everything you expect from a motel.

Questions & Answers

I remember staying here before with 2 small dogs. I had a nice room by the back door. Are you still a pet friendly place or am I thinking of a different hotel there?

Yes I stayed with my 2 dogs. Pet fee was $5 a dog.
