***NEW MGMT Brings Excellent Value and Quality for a NEW Stay away from home*** Under new management, the Pinecrest has seen a boon in quality and adequacy that was a surprise. Having had stayed with family at the Pinecrest in decades past, it now features a routinely cleaned pool, well-maintained cabins, seamless check-in, air-con, and even...yes...WiFi. Under new management, clientele has changed a bit - a bit more family oriented providing for small bonfires and a lovely stream to wade or even cast the odd fish line. Far cleaner, in the heart of the NEK for a blockbuster price makes for an excellent cost-to-value proposition for any would be traveler, local returning home or otherwise. It was a pleasant surprise and I'll be happy to recommend this for folks looking to visit the area. Comparatively, this is one of the best options around!!!

This place is an underrated gem in the kingdom. It is not for fancy people but for people who appreciate simple quality accommodations. The river and waterfall is a bonus and great for bigger kids. Every time I come there are significant improvements and people are always working on projects. There is a friendly rural community here.

The cabin was comfortable, Ms. Sharon was very communicative and accommodating. I like a softer bed, but that's just my preference. Really enjoyed my stay!

The cabin was clean comfortable and cozy for three of us. We thought the third person would be sleeping in a public area but they had their own room. The river is steps away from the cabin and the stars were amazing. Service was wonderful. Great dinner recommendation to carriage house.
