This was a fun day! I think the venue is best equipped for smaller events/normal operating, as it was difficult to know where particular things were even with signage. Still very pleasant atmosphere and tasty local goods, just what you'd expect. I will come again if an opportunity arises.

So much stuff to see here. Lots of walking trails. Different buildings and fun things to do for kids. Parking is close as well. Good apple cider slushies and apple pie for the Apple Jack's event. Highly recommend coming here for this event. We will be back again.

When did Wyndham Vacation co. become a "Partner" with Lied Lodge and what control do they have over the day to day operations?

Wyndham was a partner in the renovation of Lied Lodge nearly ten years ago. They are not involved in the day to day operations.

When planting a tree with a burlap bag and wire cage around the root ball do you have to remove all of this before planting?

Im not an expert but yes. I've seen them even 'loosen' the root ball when planting. But again, not an expert.

Hi Kathy, AppleJack will be September 18 & 19. Great idea to plan ahead as that is such a busy time for us. Tickets for the Tree Adventure and Arbor Lodge will available for purchase about two weeks prior to that weekend. You can book Lied Lodge at any time.

Is there a hotel close so a person from out of state could stay a day or two to explore?

The trails at ADF Tree Adventure are $8.00 for adults $6.00 for kids. No Sr discount. Handicap accessible trail is a 1/2 mile, wilderness trail is 2/3 mile. It's a lovely experience, I walk it often.
