Great experience overall; from the courteous staff, quick service and didn't spend more than 45-minutes total for the visit on a Saturday morning. The ease of making the online appointment prior to arrival was good too.

We were on vacation when I ended up with a horrendous migraine, we got there about 30 minutes before closing and they welcomed us right away. They turned off lights and everyone was speaking low, the last time I had to go to Urgent Care for a migraine the experience was quite opposite (not an advent urgent care). I wish I could have thanked the ladies that were so wonderful that evening.

I went to Advent Health urgent Care in Cocoa Beach,FL on 4/28/22. My experience was nothing but positive! The receptionist was kind, professional & informative. Laura -APRN-was excellent. She listened-evaluated & developed a plan of care. The X-Ray Tech was also excellent. She couldn’t have been any nicer. Explained everything so well. Tech Sam went out of her way to help with DME-called to be sure product was in stock & even giving directions to the business. It was an over-all a very positive experience for me-especially being from out of state! Many thanks to you all!

They offer EKG services to their patients, however, they are not considered a diagnostic center. In the event you had an order for an EKG from another provider, you would need to go to a true diagnostic facility or outpatient services at the hospital in accordance with your insurance. Hope that helps :)
They offer in house labs and lab draws for the patients who are seen through the Urgent Care in relation to the condition they are being treated for. If you have an order from another provider, you would go to the preferred lab in accordance with you insurance. If you are interested in having screening blood work ordered for you, they do offer primary care services on the 2nd floor and are accepting new patients.
Thank you for writing. We have Nurse Practitioners working in Urgent Care, with a physician supervising either onsite or remotely. Nurse Practitioners can write general prescriptions, but not those for controlled substances. There are also Primary Care Physicians available as well, for those who wish to establish care with an Internal Medicine or a Family Practice physician.
Thank you for reaching out. We do not do ultrasounds at this location.
