Questions & Answers

Do you know who owned the old automobile you have in your museum? My great grandfather, Parker Frank Miller (1858-1941) was the first one in Columbus NE to own a car. I wonder if that was his? Maurine Mink

The 1914 Chevrolet Baby Grand was donated to the museum in October 2001 by Jolaine Nielsen, whose father-in-law Ed Nielsen Sr. accepted the vehicle as a trade-in nearly six decades earlier.

Louie's sold to Virg Ditter.an & Ray Swan partnership and named it The Red Raven. It closed a coupme of years later and it became Christopher's, an it closed about a year later. Eventually property was bought by Jerry Roth & Ann Wagner and they sold it to the Arby Corp. Where the original Louie's property was torn down and Arby's was building was built! Louie and Janet Frieze who owned Louie's Resteraunt & Lounge were my parents.
