Shouldn't be dealing with government assistance when I never had to before till Covid laws took everything from me.

Why is there a security officer asking about my case upon walking in and acting like im a criminal for being there. Im not sure my personal information is his business, its a public office for people who need assistance not a prison. This office is kind of a disaster. I called nearly 50 times in a month & didn't get an answer or call back. They made me give them all my personal information out loud in front of the whole waiting room.. date of birth, name, social & address. Not very professional or secure feeling. Turns out they made a ton of mistakes on my case & hadn't updated any of my information as asked even though I had filled out multiple change reports & made sure they were received. Someone probably needs to report this office but I have no idea how.

I was wondering the same thing
Yep or when you have a phone interview where they are suppose to call.at a certain time they dont. well.with me they never called
It might take a couple of weeks to get it done. I would keep calling or have someone go up o check on it for you
No its a holiday
They study cut workers. Every time I call it is automated.
Go in during normal business hours and fill out the paperwork and you will be assigned a case worker.
Monday's threw Friday
I'm not sure it should be on your paperwork or found at the website if you call the office number it might say it on the automated system
Yes you can me and my family did
They are not it is a federal office and a federal holiday so they will not be open today, but you can do any business with them tomorrow
Yes, resident, legal State I.D.
You have to go in and take a number.
Most of the time you have to wait on it to come through the mail.
WSIL channel 3 news had a post about this. The state installed new computers, and several thousands have not received their link benefits. I would contact the local office and ask.
