Wont be going back. Car wasnt accelerating properly, shifting rough and was getting horrible gas milage. got a quote for $2800 to fix everything wrong with the car and a $1000 quote to get it running "normally". I paid the $1000 and picked up my car and there was no difference in how it ran. I ended up going to JS&J Auto who pretty quickly told me it was a bad catalytic converter. I had them do the repairs and the car was back to running as it should. I called back Wilmington Tire and Auto and asked if they repair catalytic converters and they said they do. Part of my service was a $120 diagnostic. on the laundry list of things they told me was bad with the car, a bad catalytic converter never came up. Not sure if it was incompetence or greed but your better off taking your car somewhere else. Id trust them to put on a new tire but thats about it.

I had stopped in at Hyundai to get my tire fixed because I have a premium wrap that is supposed to cover tire issues. Right off the bat, they advised they were back-logged and encouraged I go somewhere else (understandable, places are short-staffed right now). I mentioned it was covered with my wrap package and they did review, then said the best they could do would be to order a tire for me and said that for several various reasons they could not patch it. I again noted I have a work trip I have to drive out for in a couple days and they suggested some alternate tire shops. I called Wilmington Tire and Auto- Hailey (sp?) did some digging and was very patient with me to make sure we found the right fit, and was able to secure the exact tire. They fit me right in. As I was on my way over I got a call from Hyundai saying they had forgotten to put my tire back in the car so I was late for the time I had anticipated getting to WTA but they were friendly and ready for me. Hailey, Steve, and the rest of the group made a super stressful afternoon much more manageable and I am grateful to them for setting me up to get back on the road. To add- someone else came in after and had some questions about her fuel gauge. I heard Steve talking with her and it sounded like he did a good question discussing options and walking through the technical side of it.

Everyone super friendly and the place is very clean. They did very detailed work on our big giant RV that barely fit in the parking lot. They did a tune-up along with checking everything else out to let us know that everything look good and everything was good to go as far as the engine goes which we really appreciate. A little higher priced then other places in town but I can see us using this place again. Update: we used this amazing place again and I cannot say enough about their consistency to impress me. They constantly keep you updated on your vehicle they give you very competitive but better pricing for very detailed and expensive fixes. The front desk team is amazing in the mechanics I have got to be the best because they really do a good job on your vehicles and in a timely manner.
