This location is extremely Ghetto and the customer service is beyond horrible. I’ve been to over 200 different 7 elevens in 14 states in the last year, and this is honestly the worst one. There’s several 7-Eleven locations near this one that I recommend before coming here- such as the location up the road at the corner of Virginia Beach Blvd And Newtown Road. I realize people go to 7-elevens for the convenience, but save yourselves the rude and unprofessional behavior of the staff here. Surely, they’ll anyone can find a better location than this one.

Odd experience to say the least. My son went in to buy a slurpy. When he pulled out a$20 bill to pay the woman said she couldn't change a twenty and wouldn't sell him the slurpy. He pointed out 7/11 was retail store with the only focus being selling goods in exchange for legal tender and questioned how they couldn't have cash on hand on a Wednesday afternoon lunch hour. Seems counter productive right? At this point he was called a racist. He asked how questioning their inability to accept legal tender was a racist statement. The lovely lady behind my son came to the rescue and pulled out $2 dollars to pay for the slurpy. The experience was more of a lesson about how people interact these days and a refusal to deal with the actual problem at hand. It seems everywhere we go these days people seem defensive and afraid. My guess would be the store is struggling financially and not making ends meat. Anger and rudeness are based in fear. With the amount of poor reviews on this store, this family seems very afraid.

Very rude lady told me to take off my ear phones and get off my phone and kept telling her co worker, very loud I wish people weren't on their phone when buying something. I can do what ever I want when buying something I am the customer, and y'all provide the customer service! You need to higher employees who provide better customer service, acting all ghetto really be professional at a workplace!

The worst 7-Eleven experience ever in my life. Just moved to the area and this is the closest convenience store to my home, well every visit since has been horrible, the short black moldy face lady cashier has the worst customer service skills I've ever seen she constantly along with other employees harassing customers. One day she denied a man who was obviously in his 40s a lighter because he didn't have Id, and tonight she started a argument with a woman who purchased a Big Gulp and a bag of Doritos because she got some cheese for her chips and charged her $3.00 for the cheese itself. I stopped coming to the 7-Eleven because of this type of nonsense but I'm definitely not returning and don't recommend anyone else.
