Best hike in the Myrtle Beach area, can be smelly as it goes around the sewer treatment plant. Also black snakes often near the plant. Otherwise very level walk.

Nice 2.5 mile trail near the NMB Parks. If you go to the left when entering, you will have a nice approximately mile long walk until you get to the Road/Treatment Plant location. This section is well shaded with a fairly nice soft path. This is a good place to turn around if you want to miss the treatment plant. If you continue you will skirt the side of the treatment facility (which can be quite stinky some days). Then you will re-enter a wide roadway/trail that will skirt behind some residences. There are some benches on the trails. I recommend bug spray & water. The small mosquitoes aren't bad but can be annoying. The walk is level, and the trails are well maintained.

A beautiful area, nice hike for 2.5 miles. I wish the Gold trail was open.

Hiked about half way around but had to turn back because of sewage smells. A portion of the trail is alongside a sewage treatment facility.
