Whew! Pitt County, where in the hell did you get these unprofessional Clerks from? Customer service is dead! I called to inquire about a couple of things regarding myself and I would rather speak to an automated service. They make smart remarks while you're talking, mumbling with nasty gesture and don't get me started on how nonchalant they are. They are dry and lack so much etiquette it's pathetic. I hope to never be involved or cross the state of NC again especially Greenville, NC. I hate to even give this one star. Google you MUSt stop forcing a star because they do NOT DESERVE IT!

We have had a family trust in this courthouse for many years. After well over a decade we found out that the Trustee had been lying to us for over 12.5 years. We never once received the legally required accounting or any word whatsoever from either the court or the trustee except that he had no access to funds . We called the Court Clerk in charge and who’s directly in charge of this particular trust , Sara Beth Fullord Rhodes, and all she did was raise her voice , talk arrogantly and threaten us. We are now requesting all records and again she told another clerk that she was reviewing the guardianship and that it was not available- which all court records are available anytime. We are being guided legally and intend to investigate this to the fullest extent of the law. One attorney said “I smell a rat”. Update: It’s been 2 months now since we first requested the records. It’s one excuse after the next . Obviously, there are dirty politics in play. The trustee was given access to release the Will too. After spending without any accountably for 13 years. Without the records we know that he’s padded and took huge amounts of money , e.g., The guardian /trustee put his daughters through college while they were in Private High-school! which was never agreed on - He also changed his 33 yr. old step son’s name and funded his college too. He attempted to bribe us with small amounts of money in the attempt to off-set his horrific abuse of spending. He’s currently holding back funds - we do not know how much - for legal fees. If he is sued or criminally charged he cannot continue to use trust funds as he has in the past . He got in trouble early on before guardianship and this court appointed him after seeing this abuse. He blatantly lied to the court to gain guardianship- we were never notified until months later and he maintained for over 121/2 that he had No access to funds while spending hundreds of thousands that we know of! Where is the justice here ? Isn’t it the court’s responsibility? Our attorney said this is criminal and against the laws of North Carolina. Instead we get excuses not court record that by law we are in fact entitled to. Excuses 1-5 # 1 Sara Beth Rhodes is going over them #2 It’s the holidays (I called 2 weeks before Christmas) #3 Didn’t receive our check - that was 2 more weeks but then it suddenly appeared 2 weeks later addressed to Sara Beth Rhodes as instructed. #4 Short staffed . I called and they are not. Even Jackie , Sara Beth Rhodes assistant administrator stated she has over 10 employees. #5 Stormy weather - they were closed only one day in 2 months due to bad weather. One of the clerks who is no longer able to talk with me - stated that the amount that this trustee has paid the attorney Charlotte-Anne Alexsander is extreme-and its approved by the court …We have no idea yet how much. However , she made partner since all this @ Colombo Kitchin ( they have some bad reviews)She is the one who assisted him when he got in trouble for over spending and had apparently held his hand while he ripped off his brother and further never ever contacted a direct beneficiary. We look forward to the records and our attorneys will act accordingly. It’s sickening that money and power matter more than brotherly love or family respect. One day regardless, he will answer for this insidious behavior. I can only imagine what our beautiful parents feel. They saved their whole lives and this crook and his hatful wife - spent their money as if was their own.

Not always a good place to be but they have my approval in social distancing and they are very strict on facial masks. I think no matter how serious this may get or may not, we need to practice healthy habits and keep ourselves and others out of harm's way. It's getting bad I seen on the news over 170,000+? Don't quote me though. Thanks for reading my reviews. I like to keep people aware and most of all prepared.
