This is your typical Valvoline Oil change. They have the same services as other Valvoline Oil changes do. There was a very long line when we arrived and we had to wait quite a while to be serviced. They were friendly and we moved at a decent pace. We have used them before. They do offer military discounts. They also do NC inspections here. There's a small waiting room if you want to wait inside.

Seems this Valvoline does not need nor want your business. I believe it is recently under new management & ownership, and replaced all the excellent workers that were there before. It is very different now. SLOW! I was next in line for a simple inspection. Waited and waited while I watched two workers just standing talking almost the entire 40 minutes I was there, as they watched another working alone. The fourth worker doing inspections, didn't do anything with the car in front of me in the bay, without any explanation to me about the delay. He just left the car there as he occasionally joined the other two watchers. Then he disappeared into the employee room. So I departed. I got my inspection done at Jiffy Lube so fast that after my completed inspection I drove home past Valvoline, and the same car was still in the bay. I'm glad I didn't wait any longer, nor will I use this Valvoline again for any car work.

My cousin went in to the Valvoline on Spence to get his battery tested and to get his vehicle scanned for codes as he had a check engine light. I personally work for a different Valvoline and these services are free and don’t require anything else to be done. However the workers at the Spence location said these could only be done after an oil change, which is a blatant lie.
