The 1st visit, I had the meatloaf. It was dry and no flavor. Husband had beef tips, also dry and chewy. Thought we would give it another try. Big mistake. Waited an hour for our food in a freezing cold bar. The prime rib sandwich was dry and no au jus. The nachos chips were stale and the meat was dry. I didn't eat any of it. We won't go back.

We stopped for the Friday fish fry. It was after 8 pm and they were slammed on the Friday before Memorial Day. We waited for only 15 minutes to be seated, and we were shocked at how quickly we received our food. The breaded cod, walleye and shrimp were spectacular. It was worth the drive. Great food and great service. It was worth the drive.

Our visit was for Sunday lunch. We ordered the Sunday special: half chicken, coleslaw, and choice of potato salad, French fries or tater tots. Coleslaw was crisp and tasty, my fries had salt and another tasty seasoning, my husband's tater tots were little pillows of crispy potato, and the chicken was fried to perfection. Very tasty...would highly recommend.
