Since discovering Brian's treatment at Lumina Therapy, I am experiencing pain relief with no medication for the first time since sustaining an injury in 2018. I would suggest this to anyone who is suffering from low back pain! It works!

I am a retired physical therapist of 40 years. I recently was a pt. of Brian's for sciatica, and felt well enough after 4 visits to continue with his home program and continue playing golf. His knowledge and treatment program are off the charts and I only wish I had him as a teacher or a mentor when I was studying to be a Physical Therapist. Jerry Michaels P.T.

After multiple attempts over the course of two years to find a PT who truly understood how to heal a grade 2 torn hamstring, I was lucky enough to find Brian at Lumina Wellness. He explains your injury so you can understand and why he is using modalities he chooses to help you heal. Although dry needling may seem scary, it was the answer to finally heal me! I'm back to running pain free. Brian is knowledgeable, competent and a compassionate professional whom I highly recommend!

Although all patients are different, typically, the first session lasts for 1 hour 15 minutes. Each session after that may be 45-60 minutes. The amount of time will be based on your specific needs, and our therapist will discuss this with you. You will most likely see your therapist once or twice per week, to begin with, and as you progress through treatment, your sessions will be more spread out.

With physical therapy, it’s important to know that the overall goal is to restore pain-free mobility and function and to prevent the injury or pain from recurring. Our physical therapists evaluate your movement patterns, identify the cause of your pain, and work to manage or eliminate it. Physical therapists are trained medical experts when it comes to musculoskeletal and neurological conditions. They work closely with physicians to make sure that your treatment plan is as efficient and effective as possible. Physical therapy is a medical, hands-on approach to relieving pain and restoring function. While every patient’s condition and pain are unique, our physical therapist will use a variety of gentle hands-on techniques, exercises, and equipment to relieve pain quickly and restore your function to optimum levels.
