Very nice little pub with a typical selection of English food. At the door you are assigned to a waiter (in our case a waitress) who escorts you to the table. She was very friendly and accommodating. The food came to the table promptly and tasted very good. (For me there was too much pepper in the sausages, but that's a matter of taste) - The Guinness tasted excellent. What was immediately noticeable: The free water didn't taste of chlorine like usual in Chicago. So it must have been still mineral water. As a TIP you can give 18%, 20% or 22%. There was no choice below that. Very good pub, with a love of sports.

You can never go wrong with a British Pub, especially at Elephant & Castle. This place is perfect for everyone, from casual tourist to the diehard fans. Whether is American Football or Soccer, u can come here anytime. Just don’t go too late before 11:30pm. Especially during the World Cup or Major Soccer League Finals, because this place will be packed by sport fans from all over Chicago. The food here is worth for your buck, from their classic Fish and Chips to their Butter Chicken. There is a huge variety of pub classic to choose from. Want something British? They got it. Want to feel close to home? Don’t ask and just look through their menu. Don’t forget the drink too. The music in this place, by day is all the hits of today, by night is strictly classic Rock and Roll from US and UK. So what can’t you go wrong? Just head down to this place, and experience it for yourself the Uk way in Chicago.

Came to Chicago for the weekend and ran into this place unexpectedly walking the streets. Ended up checking it out and it DID NOT disappoint. Great food, great service ( our server, Cadence was awesome) and great drinks(their rotating blueberry draft cider). Will definitely come again and recommend to anyone. 😊 we ordered the fish and chips, clam chowder was the soup of the day, chicken Caesar wrap, chicken pot pie, & pot pie flight!
