This is a hard no. I mean of you can't even make flavorful rice you should not be in the Mexican Food business. Service was slow and not very good. The fajitas had no flavor or seasoning at all! I was so disappointed! The chips and salsa were the only good thing about this place. I do not recommend!

Horribly slow and unfriendly service. Waited 15+ minutes for our drinks, and still a soda was forgotten about until asked for two more times. Food came out quickly but was abysmal. Food lacked any kind of seasonings or care, meat was dripping with grease and was of terrible quality. As someone who has been in the restaurant business for years it’s clear to see that there is a serious lack of care from the owners and employees. Waitress couldn’t wait to come over to collect our check (perhaps to see her tip) but couldn’t be found when we needed actual service. Not sure who would frequent this place or even come a second time. Much better food to be found in other places, or make your own Mexican at home, it would probably be more flavorful and authentic.

Very kind service. Had the grande quesadilla- wonderful. My wife fajitas veggie. We will come again. Have been here three times. Always good food. Affordable prices and friendly staff thank you!

Three friends went with me last night to Habaneros on Manatee Ave. We hadn't been in a while. The food and service has always been good and that hasn't changed. What was disturbing was the location we chose and by the time we realized our mistake, we decided it wasn't worth asking for another table or booth. We had received our drinks, chips and salsa and were waiting on our meals when we realized that servers had gathered directly behind our booth. There were 3-4 of them (my back was to them). Their conversation was loud enough to compete with our table and then one of them playfully hit another. Now they really had our attention. About the time we were ready to ask for the manager, they disappeared so we thought it wasn't worth moving at that point and, quite frankly, since we all turned and looked when the playful hit happened, we thought they understood that they were being disturbing to us and wouldn't be back. Wrong! Soon after we got our meals, they came back in full force...just as loud and even actually leaning over the back of our booth (and shoulders)! I asked the friends that could see the rest of the restaurant if they could see another station that the servers could go to between waiting tables and they couldn't see any. Again, our server, Daniel, was very efficient and friendly and the food was delicious. My warning to possible patrons is to be aware of where you sit. It seems like that particular booth is directly next to where the servers hang out. It was tbe most uncomfortable I've ever been in any restaurant.
