I call this food “old people tourist food”. Most of the dishes had little depth in flavor, and that was if it had flavor at all. It’s called seasoning check it out sometime. I was very disappointed to say the least. The quality at the pier has went down sharply in the past few years and it really didn’t start at a high point to begin with. Prices are too high for what you get, I mean they totally over cooked the lamb, that’s a rookie mistake, Applebees is almost on this level. Step it up guys you are in a prime location. Also 55$ for a small rack of lamb with boiled potatoes is ridiculous!

Lovely restaurant on the river. We went for the first time for lunch and sat out on the patio. The View is awesome - and if you eat inside you have a good view too. Our server Lynn was very friendly and helpful and the food was superb. I ordered the salmon sandwich which is listed as being blackened but you can have it grilled - which I did. I asked for my side to be their homemade chips but Lynn suggested the balsamic chips so we both ordered that. This is a must!! Check out my pictures - they're loaded and sooo good! We ordered dessert as well - Creme Brulee which was excellent. We'll be back here for sure.

Always reliable restaurant. Wonderful views of the Manatee River. We ate outside in the shade, a nice breeze was cooling us off. Food is always well prepared and service is good. The menu has enough variety to satisfy everyone.

We had thanksgiving dinner there. Sat on the pier. Very pretty. Food was okay. Not great. We got the traditional Thanksgiving turkey meal and half of it was cold. Hot tea wasn't even hot enough to soak the tea out of the tea bag. Server was nice. Parking and seating were very efficient, given how busy they were. Parking attendant was delightful! Loved him and his humor! Was nice not to cook and we took home the cold parts of our dinner to re-heat later. But we will probably choose a different restaurant next time.

Reservations are always best. But if you are alone the bar will always accommodate you.
They have a ball room that you can rent for parties or events, however on a normal night or day people dont dance on the patio. It's not what you are thinking I believe. It is an upscale place to go eat buy the pier.

We always go for happy hour and that is pretty good. Prices are about average for the places we have gone
