Such a nice place to spend the weekend. Easy access to the river for fishing and BBQ. Probably good for families with small kids.

I love this place! I came here with my family as a child and we recently took a camping trip here after not coming for many years and it was just as wonderful as I remembered! We got a good spot to camp in and took advantage of the river …

Nice campground, but water wasn't working. Good fishing. Can get loud on weekends. Watch for bears. Address in Google maps is incorrect. This on Chattahoochee river road 5-6 miles from Helen.

Does it cost money to have a campsite

Elise Gagnon | Feb 6, 2020
Kyle Minyard | Feb 7, 2020

$12/per night, but you're free to pioneer camp on any other section unless stated otherwise by signs saying either no camping here or designated campground. If you take the bridge at low gap creek and go on up, there is another bridge and a perfect spot for pioneer camping.
