I was forced to listen to one of the chefs converse loudly with a few frequents the entire night. I wasn’t feeling full after spending 330 dollars. Too much flame torching. Dessert too cold. Disappointed.

People were generally dressed for a nice night out when we were there, but I don't think there was a formal dress code. Jacket and tie aren't necessary (although some were dressed that way), but shorts and t-shirt would look really out of place.
From Montgomery bart station you can walk to 2nd and stevenson and ride the 10 towards potrero and 24th. Get off on townsend and 7th
