I want to like this store but I can't bring myself to do so. It's one of the only bluegrass stores in Columbus and it's cute on the inside. I've bought a ukulele, a banjo, and a banjolele from Bluegrass Music Supply over the course of 2 years. Every instrument that I have bought has been lower quality than I anticipated and surprisingly overpriced. I've always given the store a second chance because I love bluegrass. I've also been treated odd by the owner for being a woman. I explained when I came in the final time that I was having a rotator cuff issue playing banjo. The owner explained that women don't have rotator cuff issues And that I would be fine playing the instrument. I'm a veteran and was also drilled about my service, implying that I was lying. Although the store is set up nicely, I won't be returning.

Lovely little music shop. I was looking for something that was not guitar center. This small shop is packed with some absolutely stunning bluegrass instruments, including Banjos, dulcimers, violins, ukulele, acoustic guitar, and an amazing collection of specialty harmonicas! Lots of helpful tools for teaching. The lesson book section was organized and had a lot of options. Under the counter there is a lot of pic options. There is percussion, folk CD’s and String options for all. The staff was so kind and helpful. I think there is a bit of an open jam that occurs downstairs occasionally. Awesome specialty store very much worth a visit.

The prices will vary depending on brand and gauge. I do not work there nor am I a representative of the store but I can say I would give them a call. They are all super friendly and very easy to talk to! I have bought countless strings and accessories there as well as a very nice HD28 Martin Guitar. John and his staff are well versed and always eager to help! This little shop has been a staple for many up in coming as well as already well known and famous musicians from all over the place. You cannot go wrong here! Good luck!

John at the Bluegrass shop is one of the best in the business. He does them all the time.
I have a national triolian metal guitar brown with sunburst design four string tenor guitar. Approximate manufacture date 1941 to 1943
