Holiday Inn Express & Suites Bad Axe, an IHG Hotel

Positive: It was clean & Staff was nice & restrooms were very good , only thing was the door in the restroom squeaked a little to loud , it was a nice stay other than that. Negative: I'm 65 years old & I thought that the beds were high off of the floor , for someone that can not get around well it would be hard for them .

We stayed for a week at this hotel and the 1st night we came in was late in the evening. Our keys were ready for us when we got in and we were greeted with big smiles. We felt so welcomed. Our room was clean, our bed was comfortable. The breakfasts were very nice and Kim was so cheerful every morning. We are enjoyed our stay and won't hesitate to stay again when we visit Bad Axe, Mi.

Since I been coming out to Michigan to see my son once a month granted I'm from Minnesota. I stayed at another hotel out here and their service was not the greatest and the rooms wasn't the cleanest either. Since I started going to the holiday inn, it's nice being able to check in and they know me by name.

Everything was great. We have stayed here before and finally learned how to use the TV. The only down point is that the beds are at least 2 feet off the floor. I am short with a bum knee. It was nearly impossible to get into the bed. I inquired about a handicap room but apparently the beds are not much lower. Access to the bed is a handicap barrier. We will bring a step stool next time.
