When I returned home found part of my order missing, just a few things. They were on the receipt, but not in anyof the bags. Careless and unfriendly people. At the deli counter I requested freshly sliced ham, the worker then proceeded to clean the slicing machine, very thoroughly.

To all the Karens that think it's great sport to verbally abuse employees. Go someplace with a self checkout. You're only embarrassing yourself.

It's with serious regret that I'm changing my rating to 2 stars because my family's all been loyal customers of both the Bridgman and the Saint Joseph locations since I was a kid. The thing is, at least in Bridgman, the don't seem to care for their customers the way they once had. They operate under the assumption that we (the customers) are lucky they have what they have and don't want to be bothered with enquiries about when they'll have certain items again. I completely understand that we're in the midst of a pandemic. The cost to keep their shelves stocked has gone up (which then got passed on to us... their loyal customers). I also understand that inflation, etc. has limited their ability to keep their shelves full, but none of that is the fault of their customers and they really do need to understand that instead of throwing people attitudes for asking, they could be a little more professional and respectable because without us, they have no business - which means no jobs to keep them all employed. Not their problem, I know but my child has moderate autism and can only eat certain foods. If I need to ask them if they're simply out of something versus no longer carrying it, that's not an open invitation to make me feel like sh** for needing to know. Kindness doesn't cost a thing so what's the problem?
