I love coming here to purchase marinated meats from the butcher shop, as well as queso fresco and fresh made salsa’s. The vegetable section has fresh vegetables at far lower prices than Safeway and better quality. If you’re hungry you can even buy Mexican food at the counter and enjoy it right there and the seating area. They even make their own locally fried tortilla chips Exactly like the ones that you eat at authentic Mexican restaurants. I cannot over emphasize the quality and prices that you can get here.

My husband and I showed up 2 hours before closing for some food. We ordered and then waited 30 mins for someone to start prepping our food just to be told that they didn't have the meat I wanted. My husband asked for a refund and it was another 30 mins waiting for them to get us our refund. My husband speaks and understands Spanish fluently. While waiting for someone to start getting our food made, the manager walked around and asked everyone if they were ready to close up. The cashier didn't apologize or explain to us that the cook was sitting on the toilet. The cook didn't apologize for making us wait. The manager didn't apologize for anything. They used to have good customer service. But I don't know what happened because I will never go here ever again.
