I rented a mobility scooter from Total Access for a recent meeting I was attending in New Orleans. My experience was excellent from my initial phone call to leaving the scooter at the hotel at my checkout. They were informative as what size I would need and range of battery life. The scooter was waiting for me at my arrival at the hotel, it was fully charged and in excellent condition. I had no problems using it in the hotel and it fit easily in my room when not in use. The only thing I missed was automatic back up horn, especially when exiting the elevators. I have rented scooters in other cities and highly recommended Total Access for your needs in New Orleans.

Just would like to give 5 stars to Total Access Mobility. Can't say enough of how great they are. My husband and I were in New Orleans for a couple of days May 19-22. Asked to have a scooter delivered for my husband on Friday, May 20, to the World War II Museum and it was delivered a little after 9:00 a.m., which the time agreed upon for deliverey was 8:30-10:00. The battery life was terrific on our scooter. Spent all day at museum, then went to our VRBO a mile away and never ran out of juice. On Saturday, we were all over the French Quarter and traveled even more and no problems. They picked up the scooter from us on Sunday at our VRBO at the agreed-upon time. I TOTALLY RECOMMEND this company for your mobility needs. Will rent from them again if I'm in area.

I too have had a bad experience! Was.double charged for two scooters. Then the full day of site seeing for me was too halted due to the scooter kept shutting off. After an hour of sitting a side waiting on a fix or replacement as she said. Finally the guy showed and I was on my way.. the day of use. I had to call to find out if It was being dropped off to hotel as it stated or I had to find them. After me.calling them..I stead of a courtesy call stating scooter has arrived. Lady mentioned two scooters. At that time (February 16th) she was aware of over charge. Got back home....awaited til mo day ..still no refund. Lady stated it should have been refunded. She would followup with bank and return my call. Today is Friday the 25th still no refund and.never receive a response. I have contacted via email for written record..next will do further.

Terrible experience. Rented two mobile wheelchairs and only one had a working battery. They had us sit on the side of the road for hours waiting for a new one only to have ANOTHER not working be delivered and an hour later were stranded again and told we just have to wait and “we’ll what do you want me to do?” Our one day in New Orleans was spent stranded on the side of the road. Will definitely be disputing the charge with my bank. Don’t count on these people for your mobility and don’t waste your time or money.
