The two types of gravel that would work that we stock would be 3/8 bluestone or 3/8 redstone. It is a small crushed gravel so it will lock together better than a round gravel. However, you will probably have some stability issues with having a base of beach sand. You can dig down and first apply a base of RCA (crushed concrete). That would help, but is still no guarantee because sand is underneath. Please call us if you would like to go over pricing and delivery. Thank you.
