I am from Vermont was pulled over in Champlain for an expired Vermont inspection sticker even though I am within my 26 day grace period as per Vermont statuette 23vsa 1222. Politely told the officer this but he continously argued with mr. He did not know what my temporary vt registration was and told me it wasn't a registration. I offered to show him the Vermont inspection statute but he told me it was unsafe to do so at roadside and issued me a ticket. I will not post the officers name because I dont want to ridicule him publically but if ny state police want to issue tickets for vt state law they should at least be familiar with the law. Now I have to waste my time to contact the court to have it dropped. This is unsat.
