Vanderbilt Police are commissioned officers with a specific jurisdiction. Their jurisdiction is specific to Vanderbilt University, Vanderbilt Hospital and any properties owned by Vanderbilt or the public streets immediately surrounding these locations. I am not aware of any property owned by Vanderbilt around Church St and 7th Ave, but they would be within their jurisdiction if there is such a property.
