It’s just not the same under new ownership. Three times we’ve bought whole fish, which has smelled absolutely rancid in under 24 hours after squeezing lemon all over it and stuffing it with herbs to marinate. When you go in to the shop and even if you’re only looking for seafood, make a point to look at the produce…it’s on the cusp of being rotten. What a shame.

As others have said, it’s not the same. Not even close. Every single order I call in is messed up and when I complain, they’re mad at me like I did something wrong. There are too many seafood shops out here to deal with this nonsense any more. They’ve lost a very good (like, VERY good), very long-time customer. Do not order from there if your meal is dependent on it because I guarantee it wont be what it should be.

Hi Beverly, We don’t prepare sushi. However, we do make seared tuna which is coated with an herb rub, and cooked very rare. It comes with a wasabi mayo dipping sauce. Hope to see you soon! Best, Charlotte @stuartsseafood
