In the beginning when I had come here, the place was whole lot different back than. First time use this place, was for being homeless, and help received was better than expected. They also served meals and was always something could take back home. Bread, vegetables, fruits, pastries. During the pandemic, well, we pretty much know the drill for that. Now everything lifting up a little, not too sure how they doing meals There also a pantry, which caters to those in the zone areas which they allow to serve Photo id, proof of income and address is required. Better have some form of transportation, because your not going be able carry all that food with you. Seen many many pantries in my time, none come close to what they give. Even single person. There also other services that they provide. Help with DSS, child services, addiction, even a reentry program for parolees. And yes, religion service as well. Oh. If you don't live in their zone, they will direct to pantry in your area. Homeless?, Need help? Counseling? Rehabilitation? Support? Your not alone and sure find help here

There are some really wonderful people that work and volunteer here. I went because my family and I were short on food and they gave us enough to last almost 2 full weeks. We are a family of 5, so to receive that much food was a blessing. They give you everything you need, fresh produce, meats, canned goods, bread and even throw in snacks.

Yes, also Niagara gospel rescue mission next to library on main street. Thank you
I know you
I am so sorry for your lost and bad times. I do hope things will heal and be better as you move forward. I would suggest several options. Call 211 and explain what you need help with. They will do what they can to set you up with people who are able to help. Get your daughter on disability depending on her condition. Try getting the SNaP folks to give you a hand too. And try Red Cross... I wish you all a "better than" Holiday... We have hardships all the time. When those get solved we always say this... Well, it's better than before... Nothing will ever be 100%... But it will be better than... Good luck to you and your kids. I'll light a candle for your family.
I have 4 children myself, what your question?
Please call our main number, 285-3403, to schedule a time that you can drop off clothing donations. Thank you!
I believe the answer is yes..there is a womans shelter called passages and there is also the carolyn house...i don't have the numbers but you can google them ..i hope that helps
Its just like cdt i believe. Like the continuing day treatment program . but its a different one.
No, but you may be thinking of the Buffalo City mission.
I honestly don't know, from what I have seen, no buses run on Buffalo Ave. There are buses that are on Pine Street, Main Street, and there is a bus terminal on Main Street itself which is around 15 minutes from Community Mission. Wish I could be of more help you.
There’s also a food bank in La Salle on Buffalo Avenue. It’s a one story brick building on the corner, (84th St.? )same side as Wendt’s dairy.
I'm sure the receptionist can help you talk to the right person. When you call press 0
You should take it inside
Programs are available that can provide assistance in finding housing. Please call our main site to inquire at (716) 285-3403.
