We stayed here for ten nights and had a good time. The new owners are friendly and helpful. When a large tree limb came down (luckily next to our camper), he immediately came to remove it. They left the pool open later than the posted signs so we could stay in, and they gave great recommendations for the area. We have a 29 foot travel trailer and had a pull through site. The sites are rather close together but there are a lot of trees around. (We prefer camping in state parks because we find private campgrounds too close together usually.) They have laundry on site which was convenient, helpful, and reasonably priced. Site base rate was reasonable too at $49 for full hookup. Our one complaint is that because our group of four were all adults (my wife and me along with our eighteen year old child and my sister), we had to pay two extra fees for adults that we wouldn't have had to if we were two adults and two kids. This added up to an extra $160, a significant amount that would deter us from returning. The four of us were in one camper and I don't think we had any more wear and tear or costs to the campground than if we had children instead. One thing the owners have no control over but you should be aware of before booking is that the campground is sandwiched between train tracks and a busy road for tractor trailers. There can be loud road noise and the train comes through loudly every few hours, even through the night. Overall, though, it was a nice campground that was perfect for our needs.

Coolest owners ever! They’re always super friendly and accommodating. If you’ve forgotten anything for cooking, odds are they’ll have it in the store which is great. Also, the river walk is a huge highlight of the campground and an awesome place to take your pup to go swimming. 10/10 will come back and stay here again Thanks guys!

I had to make a last minute reservation after I had car problems. Owners were welcoming, helpful and hospitable. They put a smile on my face, after a long hard day. The campground was well appointed with sites with water and electric. I enjoyed my stay, but most importantly the hosts were warm welcoming nice people!!

We spent memorial day weekend at this place with four grandchildren. The children and the adults had a blast. The accomodations were great. We enjoyed the pool. Sunday afternoon noon the owners provided construction paper and tape and everyone was invited to build rockets, which were them launched by an air compressor. Great fun. Highly recommended
