I came to the ER after dealing with an incredibly painful knee Injury for a couple weeks. Dr. Butterfield was the doctor on duty. They did check for a blood clot and did x-rays but that was the only positive things to come out of this visit. He basically told me that he had no idea what could possibly be wrong with my knee and they couldn't help me with any relief because I could be pregnant, even though I'm 46 and my tubes have been tied for 18 years. He did ask me on numerous occasions if I liked to use needles, which to be honest confused me. When I asked what I should do, if I should keep trying to walk on it, he said he didn't know and would give me crutches if I thought it would help. Then told me I could get dressed and left the room, leaving the door wide open. I hobbled out, horrified and embarrassed. Come Monday, I immediately saw my regular doctor who scheduled an MRI. Two tears in my meniscus and bone spurs, with arthritis and other issues so now I am seeing an Orthopedic Surgeon. Please do not waste your time or insurance. I will never forget that awful feeling, or what I went thru that day.

I was taken here by ambulance, chest x-ray done, told was clear, cat scan done but with no contrast due to the fact they could not start a IV.
