I love hardware stores that have been around for generations. If you need some obscure little part, they will have it in a drawer somewhere and show you where it is. If you need something obsolete for an old house, storm window tip outs, say, they may still have it. They have friendly, knowledgeable people and lots and lots of stuff!

I have a smaller Cub Cadet that really does a nice job of getting down to the cement. The drawback is that it's expensive, and the rubber paddles need to be replaced every 2 years.
