Great family time

I have been on the dinner train with cape cod railroad repeatedly and it’s a fantastic experience. Highly recommend to tourists and locals alike. However, the polar express is an embarrassment to the cape cod railway. Disorganized, unprofessional staff. No customer service. Prices are astronomical. No food is served. After the ride is over you can wait in line in the cold to get hot chocolate.

Their is a website, you can see dates and times, it gives you info about the different ticket options, and you book and pay for your tickets their. Also I would if available and financially able to do, I would do the middle of the road tickets. You get a table with bench seats on each side and a tumbler, the base ticket is a row of seats, so your in a straight row of seats with no table. And believe me you will wish you had the table because when the kids are waiting to see Santa, their able to color and if you don't have a table they really can't. The most expensive tickets are with upstairs seating that has a panoramic view and a glass mug, that's the only real difference. But it's $20+ more and then tax and some other fee, those tickets end up being over $100 a piece because of that. Doesn't seem worth it for a glass mug as apposed to a plastic tumbler. Just my opinion lol. But definitely worth doing it at least once, kids had a great time and the actors are really great.
I paid $64 for adult and for my 12 year old I paid $54.

Cheapest tickets are $34 for kids 3-12 and $44 for adults, kids under 2 are free.. $15 more per ticket if you want to go 1st class
Dinner trains run from May to October with Summer being the best time so you can catch the sunset.
