The pharmasists and staff are overworked. Lines are ridiculously long. The feedback survey is excessively long and collects irrelevant information. I only use the pharmacy because BiMart's closed.

I almost didn't have my prescriptions filled here based on the reviews, but I'm out of town visiting Ashland for a few days and needed to get 2 prescriptions filled due to a med change because of an adverse reaction (which is the worst when you're on vacation). So I thought I'd give it a try rather than suffer and wait until I get home. I called the pharmacy about a half hour after my provider sent in the prescription and they had it filled about 2 hours later. There was one person ahead of me in line. It was easy. Yes, I was put on hold when I called, but they got to me. And they got my prescriptions filled. If you need your meds, you have to stop in or call them and tell them. Otherwise they get put in the cue and they get to them when they get to them. Which can take a week at my local Rite Aid. Pharmacies (especially Rite Aid it seems) have a shortage of workers - which is incredibly frustrating. And I also don't want my pharmacist to rush through filling prescriptions. They can only go as fast as they can go. A long review to say, if you call (and can get through) or go to the store, they'll fill your meds that day if you need them. I'm glad I took that chance.

Went in for a second covid booster because I'm immunocompromised. The tech asked what conditions I had that made me immunocompromised. I'm not sure what the laws are on that, but it felt invasive and like he maybe did not believe me because I'm young and appear healthy. The experience only got worse. We waited around twenty minutes, then the pharmacist, Karen, came out to give me my shot. My partner asked to come with me because I have a severe phobia of needles, she told him no, you can't come because there's nowhere for you to sit. I went back by myself, was breathing deeply trying to stay calm, and she offered NO words of kindness or reassurance, made no effort to hide the syringe even though I said seeing it made me uncomfortable, and gave me NO warning whatsoever for the poke, I mean, come on, people usually at least will offer a countdown or tell you to take a breath. She was consistently rude, acted like I was an inconvenience. She didn't even put a band-aid on my bleeding arm when we were done, just walked away and said "you can go now." They are supposed to make you wait 15 mins for observation in case of an adverse reaction, but she obviously did not care. I felt like she just wanted us gone. It was so unpleasant. Don't go here if you want to feel like people care about you. I know we'll never go back. We moved my partner's prescriptions to Ashland Drug this morning. In additon, Karen was wearing her mask under her nose while administering shots to the most vulnerable groups. That definitely added to the vibe that she doesn't care about anyone else but herself.

A post office that is perpetually closed is not really an attraction or service to publicize, so boo there. Then, while I was waiting for my vaccination at the pharmacy, I couldn't help noticing that only one in three people actually received what they came for. I also was turned away, my vaccination appointment slot having been given to someone else. By the time I reached the exit and received a particularly smarmy "have a nice day," I thought it prudent to further tank this store's rating with one star.
