I joined Anytime Fitness in Burlington, NC May 19, 2021. The reason for joining was initially to lose weight. I was frustrated with how I looked, felt and being over weight by 38 pounds. The World Health Organization established that a male 6’2” should be at a health weight of 185 pounds. I weighed 223. At age 61, I was ready for a health transformation. I began the 90 day Ketogenic program with hopes of at least breaking the 200 pound barrier. To my amazement, at the end of the 90 days, my weight was 186 pounds. I felt amazing, was able to intermittent fast to fat adaptation and went from insulin resistant to insulin sensitive. I began an exercise program with ATF utilizing their team workouts for intense cardio and personal training for muscle development. The last In-body showed I had gained 5 pounds of muscle mass. This journey continues to be a collaboration of personal commitment along with the loving and truly remarkable staff of AnyTime Fitness, who’s passion for sustainable fitness for their members, is unmatched. Very helpful and friendly staff. Their trainers are extremely nice and willing to push you when the time is right. I personally lost 31 lbs on their 6 week challenge and would highly recommend it for anyone looking to lose some weight or get back into going to the gym and eating right.
