This is sort of a sacred area to us locals. So please respect that. Now, this short, but beautiful hike is kid friendly, mostly shaded, (so great for hot summer days), an easy walk/hike and has educational placards of the different zones all along the way. I will say it's easy to pass if you're unfamiliar to the area as it's unmarked at the entrance. You'll pass by private property owners so please be respectful of them as well 😊

Really enjoyed this trail! Not too long or difficult but a nice walk with great views. Awesome little waterfall about half way through the trail. Definitely worth checking out!

There are a couple different trails within the loop. All of them are beautiful. The best part is the waterfall but every part is gorgeous. Definitely worth the trip.

No it is not best to strap baby to the back or have toddler walk it
It is just under a mile long. The terrain varies a little and is not flat throughout the trail. There are many areas to explore as you go along the trail, so you could spend a bit of time out there.
No camping anywhere near there. Down Riverbanks Rd. 3 mi. & camp at Griffin Park.
