Haven't had to rent a car in years. Our experience renting thru Budget at the Indianapolis airport, though, exceeded our expectations. The customer service at check in was exceptional, the SUV we booked was practically new, clean, comfortable and got great gas mileage. The price was competitive. Pick up and drop off was a snap. Since our family reunion next year will be in this location, we'll definitely use Budget for our rental car.

This is the first time I’ve ever rented a car from the airport. When I got there I was very tired and a little nervous. The gentleman at the counter was incredibly pleasant and helpful. He made the process very easy. When I went to the garage and got the car, I accidentally took the wrong one. As I said I was very tired. The lady at the gate was very helpful in calling for assistance and directing me where to go to correct my error. As I was driving back to the space I took the car from, a gentleman who worked there asked me if I needed help. I explained to him that I had the wrong car; he helped me find the right car an even opened the door and started it for me. Then he was kind enough to re-park the car I had accidentally selected. I am incredibly grateful for how helpful and pleasant the staff was. Everyone was very understanding and kind to me. I will definitely recommend Budget car rental to anyone who asks me about renting a car.

Quick check in at airport Budget desk. In the parking lot, the car was brought to me quickly by friendly Budget employees. Upon return to the airport, friendly employees took control of the car. I grabbed my suitcase and moved on toward the terminal. It wasn’t long before I received a text message that stated car had been checked in successfully. What a wonderful and easy experience!

The car looked roughed up when we got it. It made a squeaking noise every time I started and stopped the engine. The car shook noticably at speeds above 40mph and became more erratic the faster you went. Then the check renting light came on 4 days into the trip. The customer service rep wasn't very helpful. Only told me to go to a Budget to exchange the car, and nothing else. No compensation for cutting into my trip. I also have to call budget corporate to discuss any compensation. Because my trip read prepaid, the in person representative at the office couldn't do anything else. I wasn't able to exchange the car because the location I returned it to literally had no cars. The good: I was able to return the car at any location. The front desk representative did not charge me for bringing back and unfilled gas tank, given the check engine condition. I could've

I had to call so that I didn't risk being stranded. If you prove you have a return flight , they will accept a debit card with a $200 deposit. This is only at the airport. This will not work off site unless you're in the same state as your driver's license. Call the exact rental car store you are using to be safe.
