Best (and only) Pottery Museum around! Featuring potters from the local Seagrove area while focusing on potters from around the state, the NC Pottery Center is informative and fun.

Nice place to get started with your tour of Seagrove pottery. It's free to get info at the door but $2.50 admission to go in and see the displays and history. Worth the minimal cost.

Questions & Answers

Do you have demonstrations of the pottery process? I have visiting family (9 people) who are interested in local pottery. They would like a brief (2-3 hour) hands-on class in Seagrove pottery. I'm interested in seeing local clay being collected.

I don't believe so. I left my pup in the camper and she was fine. I'm sure you could ask the curator as she was extremely helpful and kind. Enjoy!
