Spencer’s and Elliot were very welcoming. Kevin did a great job coaching! If you’re in town, drop in and get a workout in and make some friends! I was welcomed immediately and will definitely be back. If you’re looking for a new gym family, you should give D5 a try!

My husband and I joined D5 a few years ago and we immediately felt at home even though we were totally new to cross fit. The coaches take their time to ensure you have correct form, and always have great workouts for a variety of ages. With the coaches helping me scale certain movements I was able to work out all the way until I gave birth with my first daughter. I decided to take a couple years off once she was born. In 2021 I had my second child. I developed severed PPD and PPA. I wanted to avoid medication if I could, and decided to get back into the gym. It’s been 6 months now and I was able to completely change my mindset just by getting back to D5. The friendly environment and genuine care from these coaches is unmatched!

Do I need to buy any equipment or anything before I come to class?

The only equipment you’ll need are tennis shoes and clothes fit for exercise. We’ll take care of the rest!

I haven't worked out in forever, do I need to get in shape before I try a class?

Great question Jack! The best part of CrossFit is that we can scale any movement or workout to fit your needs! So no! You don’t need to be in shape to start CrossFit!
