I would totally recommend this place. Its quite a drive from our place(Bayonne) but be enjoyed the adventure. U reach the end of a driveway and there is small sign indicating you arrived. Simply follow the signs and you will see instructions as you enter the honey house. This is where they keep all the precious honey products. From lip balm, to candles, to soap, to honey, anything u can use from bees, they got it. They also sell fresh eggs 😀 . We bought plenty kinds of local honey. We needed it as Aileen has really bad allergies this season. The wildflower honey is our favorite, u can really taste the hint of pollunated flowers in every drop. Yum yum... and even better, It cleared her allergies, this stuff really does work.. (sure beats over the counter meds). We gave away the other stuff we bought to our friends as gifts ( we are kind like that 😀 ) and all of them were delighted. Heard great feedback from them. We ran into i believe the owner, she was kind and welcomed us. Please be aware that the place is self service. Make sure to bring plenty of cash, they do not accept card. And its not a close drive to any place where u can get cash...Over all. Between the drive, the sightseeing in boonton, nature, and the curiousity of being in this little hut, ,this was a very fun experience for us. And totaly worth the trip. We would definately return for more honey. Please check out our photos as they contain more details of the products they have. A+++++

The place I usually get my honey has been closing early. I finally made it there and they were closed. I really needed honey asap for my fire cider. Ty GOOGLE!What a perfect diamond in the rough you found me! Amazing place! There is a small sign at street you may pass. It looks like a driveway but it really is a street. Take that small street past a few houses on right and u will see brown house. We got there about 7pm and was dark. But I remember brown siding and parking infront of garage. They also have white Christmas lights on trees for walkway 😉 When we went they were working on sewer. After that is cleared it can be handicap accessible again I'm sure. No stairs. The driveway is gravel so plz take note of that also if wheelchair bound. Love the entrance. Mouth drop beautiful going in and then getting into small store. Great quality beeswax candles, honey, propolis extract, honey spoons, fresh eggs if the hens are laying. Nice bar soaps everything hand made. Even have small honey jars to buy and bring home to test taste b4 buying the larger jars. Cute little gift sets and chapsticks. Make sure to bring cash. They do except checks..but cash is really better. Definitely my new honey place!

I have never tasted honey if this quality and taste. I strongly recommend stopping by regularly.

It's perfectly fine, Mary! Honey, in fact, is the ONLY food that never spoils. They have found honey in the tombs of the pharaohs that is still fine. It will crystallize, but that does not affect its quality, only its texture.
I don't, Bassam. There's actually zero scientific evidence that royal jelly is beneficial for anyone but queen honey bees; all the claims made about it are completely unsupported by science. In addition, the harvesting of royal jelly involves killing young queens - something I couldn't in good conscience do.
Yes, we do sell bees to other beekeepers. We raise our own queens and sell overwintered nucleus colonies in spring.
