Cole was very thorough and did not rush to finish the system maintenance. He is a valuable employee for RS Andrews and we look forward to him servicing our equipment in the future.

Questions & Answers

Why isn't my water heater working properly?

Greg Shadik | Sep 23, 2021
RS Andrews | Sep 23, 2021

Some signs your water heater is going out include (1) your water heater does not heat your water effectively, (2) your water heater has strange noises coming from its tank and (3) your water heater has a major tank leak. If your water heater is over 10 years old and you are noticing any of these issues, you should consider getting your water heater replaced.

What's the best way to improve your home indoor air quality?

Greg Shadik | Sep 23, 2021
RS Andrews | Sep 23, 2021

To improve the indoor air quality in your HVAC unit, you can (1) have an air purifier installed in your HVAC unit, (2) use an air filter with a high MERV rating and (3) have your air ducts cleaned. The most direct way to improve the indoor air quality in your HVAC system is to have an air purifier installed inside of it. Having your ductwork cleaned can be especially useful if you have excess dust and dirt in your air due to dirty air ducts.

Why won't my AC system cool my home?

Greg Shadik | Sep 23, 2021
RS Andrews | Sep 23, 2021

Your air conditioning system may not be cooling your home because (1) your air filters may be clogged or dirty, (2) your air conditioning system may have a leak, or (3) your evaporator coil could be frozen. Another reason your air conditioning system may not be cooling your home is if your thermostat is set incorrectly. Your thermostat should be set to COOL and AUTO in order to effectively cool your home.
