I loved the display of history and that they include the history of phenomenal Black people from the 1800's as well! The Genealogy dept on the bottom floor cost $20 for non-members but Mr. China. I believe is his name, who manages it has a great wealth of historical history of this area! I really impress upon folks to go visit!

I’m a Dj ( Disc Jockey) from Sumter,sc & I had the pleasure of providing music for a birthday party here in the garden. I just say the faculty was awesome & the atmosphere was amazing. This is definitely a great space for your special occasion or event .

They have a donations jar, you can put in any amount.
The museum's hours are Thursday to Saturday, 10:00 am to 5:00 pm. The admission fee is $5.00 for Adults (18-64), $2.00 Students (6-17) and Seniors (65+), and Free for 5 and Under as well as Museum Members.
