My daughter was at the hospital at 8:30p. She had two seizures while in the waiting room and in excruciating pancreas pain. The nurses did very little and several of them were very rude. Several people who came after us saw the dr before us. I will never come to this again!

I have to wait all night and all day to be seen and then they did not want to help me at all

It’s sad that reviews really do not matter in today’s world… however they get a 1 in the MRI prep area and MRI itself. I made it @ 1:45 for my 2:00 appointment I was laid on the MRI table at 4:30 and taken off the table at 4:50 because it wasn’t working.. It felt rather deliberate. I was given the option to wait abt another hour in total or leave. I am appalled at the service level I received at Piedmont University hospital!!! And the Rad Tech with the glasses was rude and didn’t seem to know what she was doing. It saddens me the level of care these days!

Go elsewhere. The ER NP I had would not address my concerns and was going to send me home because all of my tests were normal. None of the tests performed addressed my concern so I’m sure they were fine. Stop using NP to do a MD’s job. It is evident that she does not know what she is doing. They are not the same. In ER medicine, I am disappointed to learn a NP was responsible for patient care. She didn’t have a clue, especially when she chose to ignore my compliant and history. The day staff and night staff are the opposite. Judy has a million reasons why she can’t do in a timely manner what I am asking. She picked up my blood pressure cup from the nasty floor and put it back on my arm in an area that was already irritated from the multiple sticks. She laughed about that. My pillow was on the floor and she didn’t bother to pick it up. I asked her to change my arm dressing because it was wet and she laughed it off. I asked her again and then she changed it. I get no towels or help with brushing my teeth nor washing my face. I guess she doesn’t do the basics in the morning. She has to have 4 people help her with me. On night shift, Lance comes in, asks me if I am going to bath. Then he does what he needs to do and comes back later and help me with my basic needs. He sticks me once and then gets the IV team to assist. Judy and her 4 people stuck me more than 5 times and when I asked about the IV team I was told they aren’t supposed to use them for that. Ok, so I’m supposed to let you stick me several times. The cleaning people clean the sinks and countertops with the same towel. That is nasty. Instead of cleaning the toilet, they flush it. I have done that. The bathroom smells like urine. Then the cleaning lady kept spraying deodorizer. Another note, if you smoke, you should not be around patients. One of Judy’s helpmates smelled like a fresh cigarette. I was sick of her smell. You might as well go to MCG or whatever they are called. This place is lacking in every area and every department.

Thank you, Marnie Williams! That is exactly what I would have stated. Circumcisions are normally performed by your OB, so I would start with that physician.

I would suggest going to the emergency room. Only a doctor can provide medication that requires a prescription.

No labor tubs however both my babies were born at university and I had great experiences both times. I can't speak for everyone but the doctors and nurses were awesome.
